The following are some suggestions of how individuals and families can creatively contribute to Mary E. Smith Foundation’s future. We encourage you to give generously.

Life Insurance can be used as a gift-giving device. Some examples include:
• Give a gift using the cash value accumulated in a policy
• Give the annual dividends of a policy
• Designate Mary E. Smith Foundation as the beneficiary of the policy

Bequest of Planned Giving through a will of revocable trust is another significant expression of commitment. This allows a person to make a contribution that may not have been possible during his/her life. Consider a gift from your estate to the Mary e. Smith Foundation.

Matching Gifts – Check with your employer to see if they have a matching gift program in which your gift to Mary E. Smith Foundation might be matched in whole or in part by the company.

Gift Designation for payroll deductions to charitable organizations, such as United Way, is another option; you can designate Mary E. Smith Foundation as your charity of choice. Non financial gifts can also be submitted, please contact us for additional details.

Gifts of Unexpected Cash – Perhaps you have received an unexpected windfall such as a bonus inheritance, government rebate check, or tax refund that could be shared with Mary E. Smith Foundation to support its community endeavors.

Volunteer – Your generosity can come in many forms including donating your time or expertise. Feel free to contact us regarding volunteer opportunities in your region. Volunteers generally donate their valuable time to assist with events ( such as fundraisers and health fairs). Please use the available section on the Contact Us screen to send us your contact information (ie. name, number, email,etc) and tell us about any areas of expertise for special talents you may possess. Please specify which event you would like to be involved with and the best day and time to reach you. In addition, please let us know if you are interested in hosting or sponsoring an event.
