National Glioblastoma Multiforme BRAIN TUMOR AWARENESS (GBM) Day July 19th
Annually the third Wednesday in July is recognized as GBM Day. GBM stands for Glioblastoma Multiforme and is the deadliest brain tumor type. Former Senator John McCain, former Attorney at law Johnny Cochran and the current US President’s son Beau Biden all succumbed to this type of brain cancer. This day is dedicated to spreading awareness for this deadly condition.
In addition to learning more, Mary E. Smith Foundation, Inc. is promoting wellness on July 16th -July 19th by encouraging self care routines as part of this educational opportunity. The GBM Awareness Event features:
