Tiffany Woodson – President

Tiffany Woodson, received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Western Illinois University and Masters of Education from De Paul University in Chicago. She has held the position of past president, vice-president and treasurer of an undergraduate chapter of the public service organization Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.  More recently she has served as chairperson of the physical and mental health committee and EMBODI male mentoring program for education development in the Joliet Area/South Suburban Alumnae chapter.  She has applied for and received several grants for the organization.

Tiffany is passionate about science and has been a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) since 1999.  She shared her love of biology by serving as a distinguished science educator in the secondary Chicago Public School (CPS) system for over 5 years.  Currently she is employed as a pharmaceutical sales representative helping to educate physicians and patients in the areas of respiratory, dermatology, anti-virals, ADHD, alzheimer’s and osteoporosis.  She currently holds multiple leadership positions within the organization.  Some of which include communications chair for two employee relations groups.  Tiffany continues to serve as a role model in her career.   An example is her annual volunteer commitment to the Corporate Multicultural Teen Mentorship program at Novartis Pharmaceutics.  Assisting and educating our youth is at the core of why she remains committed to helping others.
